Job Overview: A law firm seeks a seasoned Litigation Of Counsel to join their San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation, with a strong preference for those with a background in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Job Duties:

1. Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
2. Supervise and mentor associates on case strategy and legal matters.
3. Collaborate with experts and assist in fact development and depositions.
4. Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
5. Contribute to the development of case strategy and litigation plans.

Requirements:

1. JD degree from a nationally recognized law school.
2. Admission to practice law in New York and California.
3. 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably with an AmLaw 100 firm.
4. Experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation.
5. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is advantageous.
6. Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
7. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
8. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
9. Effective oral and written communication skills.
10. Research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.
11. Demonstrated management and leadership skills.

Education and Certifications:

1. JD degree from a nationally recognized law school.
2. Admission to practice law in New York and California.
