ERM is seeking a motivated Consulting Associate, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance to join our consulting firm in Washington, DC . In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers on EHS compliance, sustainability, and due diligence projects. Responsibilities: Assist on EHS compliance, sustainability, and due diligence transaction projects. Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, storm water, and wastewater programs. Perform EHS compliance assessments and implement corrective actions to ensure adherence to regulations. Support development of EHS compliance and management system programs. Provide EHS compliance support to clients, including on-site assistance. Conduct Phase I environmental site assessments for property transactions. Perform environmental field work and audits, including waste and chemical management, soil, groundwater, and ecological studies. Conduct safety inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments based on OSHA standards. Manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring quality standards. Support project management efforts alongside ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, science, occupational health and safety, or related field, or equivalent experience. Recent graduate to 1 year of EHS experience, preferably in technology, data centers, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors. Certifications such as ASP, EIT, CHMM, OSHA30 are desirable. Effective communication and organizational skills. Willingness and ability to travel locally up to 60%. Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle due to frequent travel.
