Experience: 2+ years in Middle Office / Asset Servicing / Hedge Fund Operations

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated professional with 2+ years of experience in Middle Office Asset Servicing or Hedge Fund Services. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and external counterparties to support trade lifecycle management, asset servicing events, reconciliations, and client reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone local to Stamford, CT looking to continue building a career in hedge fund operations and middle office support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage trade capture, trade confirmation, and settlement support across multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, private markets).
• Monitor and respond to corporate actions, income events, redemptions, and capital calls.
• Reconcile daily cash and position breaks between internal systems, custodians, and prime brokers.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, brokers, and internal stakeholders (trading desk, portfolio managers, accounting).
• Assist with NAV production support and valuation queries.
• Review and validate third-party data including trade confirms, position statements, and corporate action notifications.
• Support onboarding of new investments and accounts, ensuring operational readiness.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the middle office team.
• Prepare and distribute client reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc operational reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a middle office, asset servicing, hedge fund administration, or fund operations role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, corporate actions, reconciliations, and fund structures.
• Familiarity with major prime brokers, custodians, and fund administrators.
• Excellent Excel skills; knowledge of portfolio accounting systems (Geneva, Advent, Eze, Enfusion, or similar) a plus.
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Local candidates (Stamford, CT area) strongly preferred.
