A bit about us:

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Permanent Document Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is a hybrid role that will demand both in-office and remote work. The successful candidate will have a solid background in legal real estate, loan closing, banking regulation and operation, and will be expected to monitor loans and process commercial subordinations. This role will also require proficiency in the use of LaserPro, Abrigo, and handling credit renewals. With a minimum of 5 years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the banking industry, particularly in the areas of document center operations and loan closing.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of document center operations, ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
  • Process commercial subordination requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor loans and handle credit renewals, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Utilize LaserPro and Abrigo software to streamline and optimize document processing.
  • Liaise with the legal team to ensure all real estate transactions are in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist in loan closing processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and finalized according to banking regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of document processing and loan closing processes.
Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in document center operations and loan closing.
  • Solid understanding of banking regulations and operations.
  • Proficiency in LaserPro and Abrigo software.
  • Strong background in legal real estate.
  • Experience in processing commercial subordination requests.
  • Proven ability to monitor loans and handle credit renewals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
